Tenure of Farms
The farms are held on perpetual lease; but though the tenure is only leasehold, it is said to have all the advantages of freehold without the necessity for payment of purchase money. The rental is moderate, being calculated at 2½ per cent per annum on the estimated capital value at the time the lease is executed.
