For He is come to judge the earth;
He will judge the world with righteousness,
And the peoples in His faithfulness.

97 The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice;
Let the multitude of isles be glad.
2Clouds and darkness are round about Him;
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
3A fire goeth before Him,
And burneth up His adversaries round about.
4His lightnings lighted up the world;
The earth saw, and trembled.
5The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the Lord,
At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6The heavens declared His righteousness,
And all the peoples saw His glory.
7Ashamed be all they that serve graven images,
That boast themselves of things of nought;
Bow down to Him, all ye gods.
8Zion heard and was glad,
And the daughters of Judah rejoiced;
Because of Thy judgments, O Lord.
9For Thou, Lord, art most high above all the earth;
Thou art exalted far above all gods.
10O ye that love the Lord, hate evil;
He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked.
11Light is sown for the righteous,
And gladness for the upright in heart.
12Be glad in the Lord, ye righteous;
And give thanks to His holy name.

98 A Psalm.

O sing unto the Lord a new song;
For He hath done marvellous things;
His right hand, and His holy arm, hath wrought salvation for Him.
2The Lord hath made known His salvation;
His righteousness hath He revealed in the sight of the nations.
3He hath remembered His mercy and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel;
All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4Shout unto the Lord, all the earth;
Break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.
5Sing praises unto the Lord with the harp;
With the harp and the voice of melody.
6With trumpets and sound of the horn
Shout ye before the King, the Lord.
7Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;
The world, and they that dwell therein;
8Let the floods clap their hands;
Let the mountains sing for joy together;
9Before the Lord, for He is come to judge the earth;
He will judge the world with righteousness,
And the peoples with equity.

99The Lord reigneth; let the peoples tremble;
He is enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake.
2The Lord is great in Zion;
