I said, but we gather, and by it not being spoken to me, and by it being spoken to me alone, I live here thinking that it would not be. This would be known.

Then, it would also be known what Agustín said to me. "The land that you made to be for me, and some things also, will be provided." This was said to me. It was wanted that it be said that by the land of San Luiz, living there, it would be provided. "It will be so", I said, but by my own true heart, I did not provide it, but rather, it was lent to His Honor.

This would also be known, my honored Lord; now when Agustín Pérez was living here, we served His Honor for three years, and we served His Honor Francisco Galindo for one year: thus, those are four years. Now in our labor we, the men and women and children, endlessly labored; but I thought that this which we struggled for had yielded very little, thought "This is what we had gained", and we could not feel any happiness.

“Because of the hoes that are here, we are saved,” it was said to us. Because I spoke to His Honor, Francisco Galindo, the honored white man's chief. "May those hoes, in granting me mercy, be given to me", I said to His Honor, and I was given them. And the King, by giving me clothes and providing for me, owed this debt in failing us. Regarding the hoes: now, when the white man's chief came here, I spoke to His Honor. I thought that what I had been told was: “these are indeed your own”, and that what was said was they would bring them for me. Every year, I serve the King, and His Honor has mercy on me with the clothes for my body, many that do, the honored servants labor; they struggle and we want to say this, that you were being there failing us. This would be known, my Lord.

Now when the child of His Honor the white man's chief came here, I was spoken to and this was said to me. “'I say to you that there will be land to be lived in that is given to me,' the honored white man's chief told me."
