We shall want to know the facts as to the nature and extent of the demand. We shall have definite aims as to the product. We shall use skill and experience and factory methods. We shall back the enterprise with adequate capital and count upon a fair rate of interest.
Many housing developments have been made in the United States by real estate companies or investors which illustrate the possibilities of combining and applying city planning principles to urban and suburban development.
While a good suburban development is much more characteristic of the higher grade residential sections, much has been done also for low cost housing, especially by employers for their own employees.
