well afterwards, I fear that one lung was slightly damaged and longing to know how she is now, since I have not yet received any information from her. The dear sisters don’t have it easy on their lonely, difficult post. May the Lord open the right door for them. - Pastor Lohmann stayed only 3 days, and there came so many that wanted to greet him. On the morning the 20th it was back to Musch again. We took a different path than the one I had come; only the 1st day was the same path. At night time we reached the sheik in Duderia village and were received with great hospitality. Pastor Lohmann was very interested in this scheik, and they became good friends - we sent him from Musch an Arabic Bible with the sabtie who came with us and also medicines for his wife. - On the second day we entered the mountain ranges, we carried off over high mountains, but it was beautiful up there on the high mountains with a wonderful view of several mountain ranges. In the evening we did not reach any village, had to pitch the tent on a mountain where there was neither grass nor water. When the moon came, one of the men had to fetch water one hour away. On the 3rd day, which was a Sunday, we would rather be at rest; but in this barren place we could not stay. Then it was only to move on. I’ve never rode such a road, once it was just straight up a terribly steep rock wall that had no end, we rode only a little by little when we were too tired; but finally we reached a Kurdish camp high up on the mountain, where we were so well received, and where we settled down and spent a lovely day. They didn’t know how to best treat us and provided us with meat, milk, meatsun and spring water. Sister Hansine and I prepared a feast. This Kurd Agha was so kind to us, we would have liked to stay there longer if we had the time and if he had not gone to another place to find better grazing for his cattle. The women were shy, it is always easier to talk to the men. The fourth day was not so strenuous. We stayed mostly up in the hills and had a wonderful view out to the high mountain ranges and to some snow mountains. We rode around the high mountain Andok on our trip. At 6½ in the afternoon we reached Musch, where we were of course greeted with cheers.

Pastor Lohmann stayed with us for just a week, but it was festive days for all of us, it was just too short, and he himself was tired, you can understand that after such a long journey with so many congregations. Still, he held meetings every night in our new assembly room, and many came despite the unfavorable time.

On Saturday, June 28, we were out with the children, and Pastor Lohmann and I also rode to "Lichtquelle" and another place to look for a construction site. Pastor Lohmann thought that "Lichtquelle" was too far away from Musch, and it also seems hopeless with the plot; but we have not yet found another suitable place, nor do we have a building permit. Saturday afternoon we had a wonderful Bible and prayer time with all our teachers, and later we drank tea and ate cake and Pastor Lohmann told us so much good and interesting from his travels. It was a wonderful day. On that Sunday the assembly hall was inaugurated, it was named Eben-Eser; for so far, the Lord has helped so wonderfully in its building, and He will also continue to work, so that there will be a place where souls are saved. Dear, pray towards this. The Armenians were very happy about Pastor Lohmann's visit, many came to talk to him, and several young men came night after night to hear him. We have not experienced any revival; everything went by so quietly; but I believe that the Lord continues to work in the hearts of many and that many long for complete peace and complete salvation.
