A WOMAN'S PRAISE
153

Lighter than the twilight
On a summer sea,—
Lighter than the daylight
On a dewy lea,—

Sweeter than all sweetness
When she answers, "yes,"—
Lighter than all lightness
When she comes to bless,—
Is herself.
