Court to frame Rules of Practiſe, &c. and transmit them to Privy Council for Approval.And We do hereby authorize and empower the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-William in Bengal, to frame ſuch Rules of Practice, and make ſuch ſtanding Orders, for Adminiſtration of Juſtice, and the due Exerciſe of the Civil, Criminal, Admiralty and Eccleſiaſtical Juriſdiction, hereby created, and to do all ſuch other Things as ſhall be found neceſſary thereunto, ſo as the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-William in Bengal, ſhall,from Time to Time tranſmit the ſame, under the Seal thereof, to Us, Our Heirs or Succeſſors, in Our Privy Council, for Our Approbation, Control or Alteration: And We do hereby reſerve, to Us, Our Heirs and Succeſſors, with the Advice of Our or their Privy Council, full Power and Authority to approve, reject, control, or vary the ſame, and to make ſuch new and other Rules of Practice, and Rules and Orders, for the Proceſs of the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-William in Bengal, as to Us or them ſhall appear fit and convenient, which We will and ordain ſhall be in Force, from ſuch Time or Times as the ſame ſhall be reſpectively tranſmitted to the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-William in Bengal.

All the King's Officers and Subjects to be obedient, to the Supreme Court.And We do further hereby ſtrictly charge and command all Our Governors, Commanders, Magiſtrates, Officers and Miniſters, Civil and Military, and all Our faithful and liege Subjects whatſoever,in and throughout the ſaid Provinces, Countries or Diſtricts, of Bengal, Babar, and Oriſſa, and all other Lands, Iſlands, or Territories, adjacent thereunto, and which are or ought to be dependent thereupon, that in the Execution of the ſeveral Powers, Juriſdictions and Authorities, hereby erected, created and made, they be aiding, aſſiſting, and obedient in all Things, unto the ſaid Supreme Court of Judicature, at Fort-Wiliam in Bengal, as they will anſwer the contrary at their Peril.

26th March, 14th Year of the Reign.In Witneſs whereof, We have cauſed theſe Our Letters to be made Patent. Witneſs Ourſelf, at Weſtminſter, this Twenty-ſixth Day of March, in the Fourteenth Year of Our Reign,
