The building is being erected from the designs of Messrs. Gibson & Russell, and it is expected that it will be ready for occupation in 1897.

The new building for the public libraries of the united parishes of St. Margaret and St. John,

Westminster, was opened in 1893. It was designed by Mr. F. J. Smith, and cost nearly £7,400.
