stand (with reverence.) Then he adoreth, us also the Priest behind him, and they go into the holy Bema. And the Beacon placeth the Holy Gospel on the holy table, the singers say the accustomed Troparia; and when they say the last, the Deacon saith,

Master, bless the time of the Trisagion. Then aloud, Let us beseech the Lord.

And the Priest, aloud:

For holy art Thou, our God, and to Thee we ascribe the glory, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, now, and ever.

The Deacon. And to the ages of ages. Amen.

The Choir. Amen.

And whilst the Trisagion is being sung the Priest saith this prayer, secretly:
