PRESS RELEASE:
The Supreme Commander for the allied Powers has directed that the following men be at once taken into the custody of American Military Forces:
- Sigenori Togo, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harobor" cabinet; Minister of Colonial and Foreign Affairs.
- Okinori Kaya, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harbor" cabinet. Minister of Finances.
- Admiral Shigetaro Shimada, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harbor" cabinet. Minister of Navy.
- Nobusuke Kishi, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harbor" cabinet. Minister of Commerce and Industry.
- Rear Admiral Ken Terashima, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harobor" cabinet. Minister of Communications and Railways.
- Michiyo Iwamura, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harbor" cabinet. Minister of Justice.
- Kunihiko Hashida, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harbor" cabinet. Minister of Education.
- Hiroya Ino, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harbor" cabinet. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry.
- Chikahiko Koizumi, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harbor" cabinet.
- Sadaichi Suzuki, Member of the Tojo "Pearl Harbor" cabinet. Minister without portfolio. (Not same one who became prime minister).
- Lt. Gen. Masaharu Homma, Commander, Japanese Forces in Philippines, responsible for "Death March." (Took Wainwright surrender)
- Lt. Gen. Shigemori Kuroda, Japanesse Commander in P.I. 1943.
- Shozo Murata, Japanese Ambassador to P.I. during occupation.
- Col. Akira Nagahama, Commander of Kempei in the Philippine Islands (Responsible for tortures in Ft. Santiago)
- Lt. Col. Seiichi Ohta, responsible for atrocities in Manila.
