PSILIDÆ are small orange and black flies, about 4 inch in length.

DRYOMYZA.

1. D. simplex. 516 in.: polished yellow; wing tinged.

AGROMYZA. Field Fly.

1. A. tritici. Wheat Moss Fly. 112 in.: black.

HYLEMIA.

1. H. deceptiva. ¼ in. The Sham Wheat Fly. Ash gray, with black legs; chest with three and body with one spotted stripe; front tawny yellow.

OSCINIS.

1. O. tibialis ½ in.; black, legs yellow: hind shanks handed.

HELOMYZA. Saw Fly.

1. H. quinque practata. ¼ in.: yellowish brown: body rust yellow, black side spots; wing five spotted.

CHLOROPS. Green-eyed Fly.

1. C. vulgaris. 316 in.; pale tawny yellow; a black spot on head: fceler black.

2. C. antennalis. Like last, with pale variations: feeler yellow.
