Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, sanctify me;

Body of Christ, save me;

Blood of Christ, inebriate me;

Water from the side of Christ, wash me;

Passion of Christ, strengthen me:

O good Jesus, hear me;

Within Thy wounds hide me;

Suffer me not to be separated from Thee;

From the evil enemy defend me;

In the hour of my death call me,

And bid me come unto Thee,

That with all Thy saints I may praise Thee

For all eternity. Amen.

Quid quid habeo vel possideo, mihi largitus es; id tibi totum sess; restituo ac tuae prorsus voluntati trado gubernandum. Amorem tui solum cum gratia tua mihi dones et dives sum satis, nec aliud quidquam ultra posco.

Take, O Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding and my whole will. Thou hast given me all that I am and all that I possess; I surrender it all to Thee that Thou mayest dispose of it according to Thy will. Give me only Thy love and Thy grace; with these I will be rich enough, and will have no more to desire.

His Holiness, Pope Leo XIII, by a rescript of the Sacred Congregation of Indulgences, May 26, 1883, granted to all the faithful who. with at least contrite heart and devotion,
