Wells editor and publisher in 1829. B. F. Perry became editor on January 16, 1830. Discontinued from January 14 to May 14, 1831. On March 30, 1833, Perry resigned and O. H. Wells conducted the paper until November 15, 1834, when W. L. Yancey became editor and continued as such until May 16, 1835, when Wells again took charge. File owned by Mr, A. H.
