THE CLOUDS CANNOT LAST FOREVER.
The clouds cannot last forever, my friend,
To-day or to-morrow the sun must shine;
The heaviest showers must have an end
For that is the Will Divine.
Our hearts are heavy when clouds hang low
And tempests of sorrow sweep the land;
Bur sooner or later they all must go,
And then we shall understand.
