Lift us up to catch from Thee
World-encircling sympathy.
Ardor, strength, and courage give;
As Thou livest, let us live!

Let our deeds be syllables
Of the prayer our spirit swells.
In us Thy desire fulfil;
By us work Thy gracious will!
