Oh! may thy years with pleasure's wreaths be crown'd,
And each revolving hour in bliss fly round;
May'st thou excel in every path of life,
As daughter, sister, mother, friend, and wife;
And when our latest sighs on earth are given,
Oh! may we meet in perfect bliss in heaven.





LINES SENT WITH A PLAIN HAIR RING TO A DEAR FRIEND.
Accept, dear girl, from friendship's hand,
This little, trifling, worthless token;
Remember, it is friendship's band,
And may it ne'er, oh! ne'er be broken.
