"Here's bitter that will give you health;
There's sweet that takes the life by stealth;
And this I call 'old woman's wealth;'
It soothes the nerves and coaxes sleep;"
And she gave me of it to drink and keep.

See there, "God's Smile!" it almost girds
Our mountain's base—and hark, the birds!
How endless then are His wise words!
'Sunbeams and breaths"—to appear again
In noble lives of women and men!
