54 & 55 Vict. c. 76. The Public Health (London), Act 1891. In section one hundred and forty-two the words "sections fifty-one and fifty two of the Sanitary Act, 1866, and"
    So much of the Act as extends or applies any provision of the Public Health Acts which is repealed by this Act, and in particular the second paragraph of section one hundred and thirty of the Public Health Act, 1875, and the whole of section two of the Public Health Act, 1889, as set out in the First Schedule to the Act.

CHAPTER 20.

An Act to amend the Public Health Act with respect to the Powers of Port Sanitary Authorities.

BE it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Powers of port sanitry authority1. The Local Government Board may by order assign to any port sanitary authority any powers, rights, duties, capacities, and obligations under the Infectious Disease Prevention Act, 1890 {{RL sidenote|53 & 54 Vict. c. 34., with the necessary modifications.

Short title and construction.2. This Act may be cited as the Public Health (Ports) Act, 1896, and shall be construed an one with the Public Health Act, 1875.
