Discussion.

Prof. Seelet remarked that, so far as he could judge from a hasty- inspection of the supposed Crocodilian jaw from the Coral Eag, he should be disposed to regard the specimen as Plesiosaurian. The somewhat Plesiosaurian modifications which it presented were such as are met with in the jaws of Plesiosaurs from the Oxford Clay.

The Author in reply expressed his doubts as to this notion, but at the same time reminded the meeting that on account of the un- certainty which existed he had refrained from referring the speci- men to any particular genus.
