moval of designation, as applicable, that is introduced during the 60-calendar day period thereafter shall be entitled to expedited consideration pursuant to this subsection.

(2) Introduction.—During the 60-calendar day period provided for in paragraph (1), a covered joint resolution may be introduced—

(A) in the Senate, by the Majority Leader (or the designee of the Majority Leader) or the Minority Leader (or the designee of the Minority Leader); and

(B) in the House of Representatives, by the Speaker or the Minority Leader.

(3) Floor consideration in the House of Representatives.—

(A) Reporting and discharge.—If a relevant committee of the House to which a covered joint resolution has been referred has not reported such covered joint resolution within 10 legislative days after the date of referral, that committee shall be discharged from further consideration thereof.

(B) Proceeding to consideration.—Beginning on the third legislative day after each committee to which covered joint resolu-
