Average price of Raw Sugar, exclusive of duty 49s 93/4d.

Sugars have been very brisk, at an advance of 2s and 3s per cwt.; towards the close, however, the demand has rather slackened. Molasses has advanced 3s per cwt. as will be seen by the above quotation. Coffees are very dull, but there is no disposition in the holders to sell for less money.

East India Company’s Tea Sale, for December.

The finest qualities of Bohea are 4d per lb. cheaper; inferior sorts from 1d to 2d. Fine Congous are reduced 1d to 2d. Good ordinary Congous, and good common Greens, about 4d. Souchongs and Twaukeys, about the same as last sale. Inferior sorts of Twankeys are lower. Hysons are a trifle dearer.
