Portrait of David Garrick in the character of Richard III. This engraving was first published in 1746 from the painting by William Hogarth. The artist had as collaborator in making the engraving Charles Grignion. The original painting is now at Duncombe Park, Yorkshire. The scene represents Richard at the time of Ratcliff’s entrance, V. iii. 208.
