IV.

And is His coming still afar,
Or is the vision nearing?
I only know I’ve heard His voice,
And wait for His appearing.

And will the kingdom be of earth,
Or in some constellation?—
Enough for me that Christ Himself .
Is founder and foundation.

Lord, answer me just how Thou wilt—
Here or beyond the river.—
It is enough that “I am Thine,
And Thou art mine forever.”
