cations and fit themselves for their various stations in life. They are a bit older than they were, but just as wideawake and full of fun as ever, and just as determined to make records for themselves. They give a helping hand to some other students, help to win a famous football game, and thwart the efforts of some enemies who plot to get them into serious trouble. They also meet some of their old girl friends, the Lanings and Dora Stanhope, and—but perhaps I had better let that part of the story tell itself in the pages that follow.

Once again I thank my young friends for all the nice things they have said about these books, and I also thank the older folks who have said that they have read and enjoyed the stories. I trust the present volume will fulfil every reasonable expectation. And here's a handshake all around.
