That the Names i'uftTitk*^"* ^"'^ '^^^^ aforefaid, and every of them, are moft rebelhous, wicked, traiterous and abominable Ufurpations, detefted by this prefent Parhament, as oppofite in the higlieft Degree to his Sacred Majefty's moft juft and undoubted Right, to whom and to his Heirs and lawful Succeflbrs, the Imperial Crowns of the Realms of England, Scotland and Ireland, with their and every of their Domuiions and Territories do of Right appertain, and as violating and infringing the juft Rights and Privileges of Parliament and both Houfes thereof now aiTembled, or that hereafter ihall be called and affembled. Jndiaments of XIII. Provided always, and be it enaded, That all and every pretended Indidtment or Indidments, Treafon, &c. Outlawries, Inquiiitions, and all Proceedings thereon, of High Treafon, againft any Perfon or Perfons againfYoifver" whatfoever, for levying War againft the late Tyrant Oliver Cromwell, the pretended Keepers of the Li- Cromvreii, &c. berty of England, or any other ufurped Power, mall be from henceforth void and of none Effed in Law : xnadevoid. The Penalty, II. Be it, for the Reafons aforefaid, enaded by the King's moft Excellent Majefty, and the Lords and jiia-w.p.c,c.%z. Commons in this prefent Parliament affembled, That no rerfon or Perfons whatfoever, from and after the .21--I9I. twenty-ninth Day of i'^/i/^OTigr in the Year of our Lord one thoufand fix hundred and fixty, upon any Contrad, fiiall from and after the faid twenty-ninth of September take diredly or indiredly for Loan of any Monies, Wares, Merchandize or other Commodities whatfoever, above the Value of fix Pounds for ■ the Forbearance of one hundred Pounds for a Year, and fo after that Rate for a greater or leffer Sum, or t for a longer or fliorter Time : (z) And that all Bonds, Contrads and Affurances whatfoever, made after t the Time aforefaid for Payment of any Principal or Money to be lent, or covenanted to be performed, upon or for any Ufury, whereupon or whereby there (hall be referved or taken above the Rate of fix Pounds in the Hundred, as aforefaid, Ihall be utterly void : (3 ) And that all and every Perfon or Perfons vyhatfoever, which (hall after the Time aforefaid, upon any Contrad to be made after the faid twenty- ninth Day oi September, take, accept and receive, by Way or Means of any corrupt Bargain, Loan, Ex- change, Chevifance, Shift, or Intereft of any Wares, Merchandize, or other Thing or Things whatfo- ' ever, or by any deceitful Way or Me^ns, or by any Covin, Engine or deceitful Conveyance, for the forbearing or giving Day of Payment for one whole Year, of and for their Money or other Thing, above the Sum of fix Pounds for the forbearing of one hundred rounds for a Year, and fo after that Rate for a greater or lefier Sum, or for a longer or (horter Term, (hall forfeit and lofe for every fuch Ofi^ence the treble Value of the Monies, Wares, Merchandize and other Things fo lent, bargained, fold, exchanged or (hifted, of^a^s^riwner* ^•'^" ^"'^ ^^ ^^ further enaded by the Authority aforefaid.
