Provided always, Thatif the faid Sermon or Le<5ture be to be preached or read in any Cathedral: thedraTor'cTile- or Collegiate Church of Chapel, it fliall be fu(ficientfor the faid Ledurer, openly at the Time aforefaid, to giate Churches. That if any Perfon who is by this Act dif- abled tp preach any Le<5lure or Sermon, (hall during the Time that he fliall continue and remain fo difa- bled, preach any Sermon. or Lefture; that then for every fuch Offence, the Perfon and Perfons fo offend- ing (hall fuffer three Months Imprifonment in the Common Gaol without Bail or Manprize; (3) and that any two Juftices of the Peace of any County of this Kingdom and Places aforefaid, and the Mayor or other Chief Magiffrate of any City or Town Corporate within.the fame, upon Certificate from the Ordinary of the Place made to him or ihem of the Offence committed,,, fliall and are hereby required to commit the Per- ion or Perfons fo offending, to, the Gaol of the fame County, City or Town Corporate accordingly.
