' Principality of Wales, there is a Claufe or Article contained in thefe Word ., that is to fay, " Item, J " That there'fhall not exceed the Number of Eight Juftices of the Peace in any of the faid Shires, over " and befides the Prefident, Council, and Juftices aforefaid, and the King's Attorney and Solicitor- i " which Prefident, Council, Juftices, and the King's Attorney and Solicitor, fhall be put in every Com- 1 " miffioji of Peace, in every of the faid Twelve Shires ;" ' And whereas the Law contained in this I

II. Be it therefore enaded by (he King's and Queen's moft Excellent Majefties, by and with the Ad- { vice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in J'arliament aflembled, and by, Authority of the fame. WHEREAS by an Aft of this prefent Parliament, iiitituled, An ASi for granting to their Maj flies certain Rates ajid Duties of Excife, for feciiring certain Reco?npences and Advantagis in the faid A£l mentioned, to fuch Perfons as Jhall volimtarily advance the Sum of ten hundred thoufand Pounds toivards carry- ing on the War agaiiyi France, it was enadled.
