Commiffioners any Title or Intereſt in the faid Houfes, or in the Ground whereon they ſtand, or thereunto belonging, to cauſe the faid and fhall be a full Authority for the faid Commiffioners, or any eleven of them, to cauſe the fame to be executed, and the faid Houfes accordingly to be removed and pulled down, or any Part of them. Provided always, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That no Perfon fhall be enabled to act as a Commiffioner, to the Intents and Purpoſes aforefaid, until he ſhall have firſt taken his Oaths for exe- corporal Oath before the Lord Chancellor or Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England for the time being, for the due and impartial Execution of the Truft by this Act repofed in him. A T the Parliament begun at Weftminfter the two and twentieth Day of November, Anno Dom. 169;. in the ſeventh Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord WILLIAM the Third, by the Grace of God, of England, Scotland, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, &c. thence continued by feveral Prorogations and Adjournments to the third * Day of December 1697, being the third Seffion of this prefent Parliament.' And from "King's Subjects who have fince 11 December 1688, gone into France without Licence, or borne Arms in "the French King's Service, or under the late King James, and ſhall return into England without Licence, " guilty of High Treafon. Subjects aiding or holding Correſpondence with the late King James, &c. or remitting Money for his Ufe, guilty of High Treaſon." 46 < IV. And whereas by an Act made at a Seffion of Parliament held in the third and fourth Years of the Reign of His prefent Majefty and the late Queen MARY, intituled, An Act against correfponding with their Majefties Enemies, it was amongſt other Things enacted, That if any of their Majefties Subjects fhould from and after the tenth Day of March in the Year of our Lord one thoufand fix hundred ninety- one, without Licence from their Majefties, voluntarily go or repair, or imbark in any Veffel with an "Intent to go into France, or any Dominions of the French King, and fhould be upon full Proof convicted thereof, he should be taken, deemed, and adjudged to be guilty of High Treafon, and fhould fuffer fuch "Penalties as in caſe of High Treafon: And whereas fome Doubt hath arifen whether the faid Claufe be ftill in Force: Therefore for avoiding all Difputes thereupon, Be it declared by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Claufe was intended to have Continuance only during the late War with France; and that the faid Clauſe and every Part thereof is now determined and of no Force. C it is be- that the "Perfons returning without Licence, &c. unleſs they obtain Licence to ſtay, guilty of High Treaſon. "Perfons accepting Pardons or Grants of Honour, &c. from the late King fames, guilty of High Trea- "fon. Pardons, &c. to be delivered up; and in Default guilty of High Treafon. An Act to prevent the further Currency of any hammered Silver Coin of this Kingdom, and for recoining fuch as is now in being, and for the making out new Exchequer Bills, where the former Bills are or ſhall be filled up by Indorfements. ( WH THEREAS by an A&t made in the laft Seffion of this prefent Parliament, intituled, An Act for the further remedying the ill State of the Coin of the Kingdom, it was amongſt other Things enacted, That

of this Kingdom fhould be current in any Payment whatſoever (except only fuch as were therein before mentioned) otherwife than by Weight only, after the Rate of five Shillings and two Pence for every "Ounce of Sterling Silver: And whereas by one other Act made in the fame Seffion of Parliament, inti- tuled, An Act for granting an Aid to His Majefty, as well by a Land Tax, as by feveral Subfidies, and other Duties payable for one Year, it was amongft other Things enacted (to the end that ſuch hammered Silver Coin might be made current in all Payments at the faid Rate of five Shillings and two Pence by the 'Ounce) That from and after the first Day of February one thoufand fix hundred ninety-fix, the Tender of
