C. 9: 91 fion of Delegacy or Review, for any Matters Ecclefiaftical, Teftamentary, or Maritime, or any Procefs thereupon, fnali be determined, abated, or difcontinued by the Demife or the faid late King, but all and every fuch Writ, Commiffion, Procefs, and Proceedings, fhall be and are hereby revived and continued, butbe continued j and fliall be in full Force and Virtue, and fliall and may be proceeded upon as if his late Majefty were living ; nor hereafter by the Demife of her prefent Majefty, or any King or Qiieen of this Realm, fhall nor hereafter by any CommilTion of Affize, Oyer and Terminer, general Gaol Delivery, or of AiTociation, Writ of Admit- h" Majefty's tance.   • of the next Seflion of Parliament : And whereas the faid Aft hath been found of good Ufe, for fupprefs-

' ing the counterfeiting the Current Coin of this Kingdom by fuch Tools and Inftruments as are therein

  • prohibitted :' Be it enafted by the Queen's moft Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent

of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this Parliament affembled, and by the Au- thority of the fame. An ASifor appointing Wardens and Affay_ Majiers, for afjhying vjrought Plate in the Cities of York, laW. 3. 0,4, Exeter, Briftol, Chefter, aW Norwich, the faid Cities of York, Exeter, Brijlol, Cheflcr, VinA Norwich, vvere appointed for the aflaying and marking of wrought Plate, and for executing the Powers, Autho- rities, and Direftions given by the faid Aft : And whereas in and by the faid Aft of Parliament it was further enafted. That all and every Goldfmith, Silverfmith, and Plate-worker inhabiting in any Town or Place where an AflTayer is not, or fliall not be appointed, fhall bring all his or their wrought Plate to fome of the faid Cities or Places to be aflayed and marked, upon Penalty of Forfeiture of all fuch Plate or Manufafture of Silver, or the Value thereof, as ftiall be fold or exchanged before the fame be marked and affayed :_ And whereas in the Town oi Newcajile upon Tyne there is, and Time out of Mind hath been, an ancient Company of Goldfmiths, which, with their Families, by the faid Penalty are like to be ruined, and the fajd Trade utterly loft in the faid Town : And whefeas by the Statute of the fecond of N ?
