- Juries at the Affizes, than otherwife might and ought to be, where the confiderableft Men of Eftates,
' liable to the faid Service, ought in their legal Courfe to be returned, fummoned, and to ferve :' For Remedy whei'eof be it enafted by the Queen's moft Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and the Comiinons, in Parliament affembled. That no Pcrfons in ihe Perfon interefted in fuch Eftate as will qualify him to ferve on Juries, of the clear yearly Value of one County of Vork hundred and fifty Pounds, or of any greater yearly Value, ftiall be returned and fummoned to ferve upon having in Eflate any Jury, at any Seflions of the Peace holden for any Part of the County of Tork, upon the Penalty ot An^n^.Vcfftall twenty Pounds, to be forfeited by any Sheriff, under Sheriff, or other Oflicer whatfoever, making fuch „ot b^ jeturned Return and Summons as aforefaid, to be recovered to and for the Ufe of any Perfon that will fue tor the on Juries it the fame, in any of the Courts of Record at Wejhninfter, by Aftion of Debt, Bill, Plaint, Information, or Seflions, ^c otherwife, wherein no Effoin, Proteftion, Privilege, or Wager of Law, 6r more than one Imparlance I'^n^'ty- fhall be allowed. And whereas feveral great Sums of Money, fince the making the faid Aft, have been levied and ing Vagrants, fee ^ expended for the conveying of Vagrants, and that fome Juftices of the Peace give greater Ailov/ances 5 A"n=^, c.32. to Confiablcs for conveying Vagrants than may feem to be necellary, and thai: the Owners of Horfes, ' Waggons.
