Stat. j. 597 -fix Pence for every Bufliel of Malt which he, fhe or they or any other Perfon or Perfons in Trufi: for him, her or them, fliall be poflelTed of, on the faid four and twentieth Day of "Jioie one thoufand k.vt hundred and thirteen ; and that all and every fuch Perfon and Perfons snw have or hath, or fhall make fuch Compofuion for their faid Duties on Malt, in Purfuance of the faid, former Acts or any of them, and who fliall make Default in continuing fuch their Compofition, as aforel'aid, Ihall on or before the tenth Day oi 'July one thoufand feven hundred and thirteen, make true and particular Entries of all fuch Malt as they or any of them, or any other Perfon or Perfons in Trull for them or any of them, fhall be poffefled of, or have in his or their Cuftody or PofTefuon, at theOfHce of Excife within the Limits of which they fliall refpeilively inhabij:, upon Pain to forfeit the Sum of fifty Pounds and the Malt, of which no fuch Entry fliall be made ; and within fix Days after he, flie or they fliall have made or ought to have made fuch Entry, as aforefaid, fhall pay dov.'n the Dufies hereby charged upon the fame, or in Default thereof lliali forfeit and lofe double the Value oi the faid Malt ; and that the Houfes, Out-houfes, and other Places belonging to fuch Compounders, who fhall make Default in continuing fuch their Coinpofitions, as aforefaid, Ihall be and are hereby made liable to the Search and View of the Officers for the faid Duties, in, the fame Manner, and under the fame Penalties for Refufal, as other Perfons making Male for Sale are liable.   • Wetting from another ; For Remedy whereof,' Be it further enabled by the Authority aforefaid. That

during the Conti.nuance of the Duties hereby granted, no Malfter or Maker of Malt, other than Com- pounders for the faid Duties, fliall, during the Continuance of the faid Duties, mix, or caufe to be mixed) .Jiis, her or their Corn or Grain making into, Malt, of one Wetting or Steeping, or any Part thereof, v/ith his, her or their Corn or Grain making into Malt, of a former Wetting or Steeping, or any Part thereof, beforethe fame is put on the Kiln for drying., on Pain of Forfeiture of the Sum of five Shillings for every ^ufliel of Corn fo mixed, contrary to the true Intent and Meaning hereof. " XVJI. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid.
