' Game-keepers in the fame Manor with Power to kill Game, was found by Experience to tend very much ' to the Deftruclion of the Game of this Kingdom : For the preventing whereof, by one other Act of the i •9 Ann. c. 25. Perfons whatfoever, net being qualified by the Laws fo to do, or not being truly and properly a Servant of p!T all? e f,. an y Lord or Lady of a Manor, or not immediately employed and appointed to take and kill the Game for the Game fnafl the *°' e ^ e or immediate Benefit of the faid Lord or Lady, who, under Colour or Pretence of any Power be liable to the or Authority, Deputation, or Qualification to him granted by any Lord or Lady of a Manor, fhall take or Forfeitures in kill any Hare, Pheafant, Partridge, or other Game whatfoever, or fhall keep or ufe any Greyhounds the recited Afls. Setting-dogs, Hays, Lurchers, Guns, Tunnels, or any other Engine, to kill and deftroy the Game, being thereof legally convicted, fhall, for every fuch Offence, incur fuch Forfeitures, Pains and Penalties, as are appointed to be inflicted by the faid recited Acts of the fifth and ninth Years of the Reign of the late Queen Anne; fuch Forfeitures to be.recovered by fuch Means, and in fuch Manner and Form, and within fuch Time, and to fuch Ufes, as are prefcribed by the faid recited Acts; any Thing in the faid Acts, or in any other Law or Statute to the contrary thereof in any wife notwithftanding. The recited Afts; - II. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid recited Aits of the fifth and ninth fi-iall remain in Years of the Reign of her. faid late Majefty Queen Anne, and all other Laws now in Force for the better Pre- fervation of the Game, and all Matters, Powers and Things therein contained, not hereby altered and c ' **" repealed, fhall continue, remain, and be in lull Force 9 Ann. c. 25. An Act to impower Commifiioners in Commiffions of Bankrupts, ifTued fince the four and twentieth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and fix, and on or before the fix and twentieth Day of June one thoufand feven hundred and fixteen, to make Certificates for Bankrupts; and the Lord Chancellor, Lord Keeper, Commifiioners of the Great Seal, or two Judges, to confirm the fame, notwithftanding the Acts of the fourth. and fifth, and the fifth of Queen Anne, are expired; and for continuing a Claufe in a former Act for adjufting Accounts between Bankrupts and their Debtors.
