Provided always, and it is hereby enacted, That this Aft, or any Thing herein contained, fhall not the Annuities of extenc ]^ or be conftrued to extend, to charge or to enable his Majefty to charge the Annuities or yearly PHncefsof 20 Sums, amounting to one hundred thoufand Pounds, granted to his Royal Highnefs the Prince of Wales, or Wales. his Truftees, during the Joint Lives of his Majefty and the faid Prince, or the Annuities or yearly Sums, amounting to fifty thoufand Pounds, granted to her Royal Highnefs the Princefs of Wales, or to any Perfon or Perfons in Truft for her, to commence and take Effect immediately after the Deceafe of the faid Prince, or any of the fame Annuities or yearly Sums, fo granted, with the above-mentioned Deduction or Payment of fix Pence in the Pound, or any Part thereof; but that the fame Annuities or yearly Sums, and their Royal Highneffes respectively, and their refpective Truftees, Treafurers and Receivers General for the Time being, in refpect of the fame, fhall be free and clear of and from the faid Deduction or Payment of fix Pence in the Pound; any Thing in this Act contained to the contrary notwithftanding. Not to prejudice XXI. Provided always, That nothing in this Act contained {hall extend, or be conftrued to extend, to ihe Annuity of prejudice, delay or interrupt the Payment of the faid Annuity or Annuities, amounting to fifty thoufand 5c,oco 1. to the pounds, granted to her Royal Highnefs the Princefs of Wales, or to any Perfon or Perfons in Truft for her, RoyaiHighnefs's t0 commence an d take Effect immediately after the Deceafe of his Royal Highnefs the Prince of Wales; any peath, > Thing herein contained to the contrary notwithftanding.   • be applied in and for the Payment of Debts and Arrears due and to grow due to his Majefty's Servants, and

' others, payable at the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer, or in Offices wherein the Expences relating to e his Majefty's Civil Government are payable: And whereas feveral of the faid Servants, and others, are, or

  • may be defirous to have and enjoy Annuities at the Rate aforefaid, to be founded on this Act, in Lieu and

. * Satisfaction of fuch their Debts and Arrears refpectively;' Be it therefore provided, &c. " Treafury may make out Tallies for Annuities at r/. per Cent, to fuch Perfons as fhall defire the fame for " the Arrears due to them. On Delivery of fuch Tallies to the Cafhier, the Producer to be deemed a Con- " tributor. All the Powers relating to Annuities purchafed with Money fhall be practifed for fecuring the " Annuities to be purchafed by fuch Tallies.
