That where any Perfon or Perfons, being under the Age of one and twenty Years, or Feme or Femes Covert, fhall from and after the twenty-fourth Day of 'June one thoufand feven hun- dred and twenty-three, be intitled, by Defeent or Surrender to the Ufe of a Laft Will, to be admitted Tenant or Tenants of any Copyhold Mefluages, Lands, Tenements or Hereditaments, within that Part of Great Britain called England, or the Dominion of fifties, they the faid Infants or Femes Covert, not Fcm<- Coverti having been admitted thereto, and not having paid their Fines, every fuch Infant or Feme Covert, in anrJ Inf j«>« m, y their proper Perfons, or fuch Feme Covert by her Attorney, or fuch Infant by his or her Guardian or co^hl'id EflVic, Guardians, if he or fhe fhall have any fuch; and in cafe he or fhe fhall have no Guardian or Guardians, by their Attpr- ' then by his or her Attorney or Attornies (for which Purpofe fuch Infants and Femes Covert fhall be and ney pr Guardian* are hereby impowered, by Writing under his or her Hand and Seal refpectively, to appoint an Attorney or Attornies on his or her Behalf) fhall come to, and appear at, one of the three next Courts, which fhall be kept (for the keeping whereof the ufual Notice fhall be given) for fuch Manor or Manors, whereof fuch Meifuages, Lands, Tenements or Hereditaments, fhall be Parcel, and fhall there tender and offer themfclves to the Lord or his Steward of fuch Courts, to be admitted Tenants to all and every the faid Melfuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments fo furrendered, defcended or come to, or to the Ufe of every fuch Infant or Feme Covert : To make which Appearance, and to take fuch Admittance in Behalf of fuch Infant or Feme Covert, ftich Guardian and Attorney fhall be, and they are hereby refpeitively authorized and required : And in Default of the Appearance of fuch Infants or Femes Covert, in their own Perfons, or by their Guardians or Attornies in that Behalf, and of Acceptance of fuch Admittance as aforefaid, it fhall and may be lawful to and for' the Lord or Lords of every fuch Manor and Manors, or his and their Steward and Stewards of the Courts thereof, after fuch three feveral Courts have been duly holden for fuch Manor or Manors, and Proclamations in fuch feveral Courts been regularly made, to nominate and appoint at any fubfequent Court or Courts, to be holden for fuch Manor or Manors, any fit Perfon to be Guardian or Attorney for every fuch Infant or Feme Covert for that Purpofe only, inDefaukof and by fuch Guardian or Attorney, to admit every fuch Infant or Feme Covert to all and every the faid their Appearance- Mefluages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments, according to fuch Eftates as fuch Infants or Femes the Lord m *y Covert fhall be legally intitled to therein ; and upon every fuch Admittance, to impofe and fet fuch Fine df a p n °'& c> a and Fines, as might have been legally impofed and fet, if fuch Infant fo admitted had been of full Age, ■ or if fuch Feme Covert had been fole and unmarried. II. Hereditaments, to which any fuch Infant or Feme Covert fhall be fo admitted, and to hold and enjoy the fame, and to receive the Rents, Iffues and Profits thereof, but without Liberty to fell any Timber {land- ing thereon, for fo long Time only and until by fuch Rents, Iffues and Profits, fuch Lord or Lords fhall be fuliy paid and fatisfied fuch Fine and Fines, together with all reafonable and neceffary Cofts and Charges, which fuch Lord or Lords fhall have been put unto in levying and raifing the fame, and in ob- taining the Poffeflion of fuch Copyhold Mefluages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments, although fuch Infant or Feme Covert fhall happen to die before fuch Fine and Fines, and the Cofts and Charges afore--, faid, -fhall be raifed and collected ; of all which Rents, Iffues and Profits, fo to be received by fuch Lord The Lord to ac- or Lords of fuch Manor or Manors, or his or their Stewards, Bailiffs or Servants, upon the Occafion counv )' car 'y- aforefaid, fuch Lord or Lords of fuch Manor or Manors, fhall yearly and every Year, upon Demand to be made by fuch Perfon or Perfons, who fhall be intitled to the Surplus of the Rents and Profits, over and above what will pay and fatisfy fuch Fine and Cofts and Charges fo received as aforefaid, or by fuch Perfon or Perfons, as fhall be then intitled to fuch Copyhold Eftate, give and render a juft and true Ac- count, and fhall pay the faid Surplus Rents, Iflues and Profits, if any, to fuch Perfon and Perfons, as fhall be refpeftively intitled to the fame. III. And it is hereby further enacled by the Authority aforefaid, That as foon as fuch Fine or Fines, and the Cofts, Charges and Expences aforefaid, fhall be fully paid and fatisfied, or if after fuch Seizure of, and Entry upon fuch Copyhold Lands, Tenements or Hereditaments, for the Purpofes aforefaid, fuch Fine or Fines, and the Cofts and Charges aforefaid, fhall be lawfully tendred and offered to be paid and fatisfied to the Lord or Lords of fuch Manor or Manors, that then in any of the faid Cafes it fhall and may be lawful to and for fuch Infant or Feme Covert, or other Perfon intitled thereto, to enter upon,' and take Poffeffion of, and hold the faid Copyhold Premiffes, according to fuch Eftate or Intereft, as he or fhe fhall be lawfully intitled to therein ; and the Lord and Lords of fuch Manor or Manors fhall, and is and are hereby required, in any of the faid Cafes, to deliver Pofieffion thereof accordingly ; and if fuch ^"p^'I- d - Ilver Lord or Lords of fuch Manor, after fuch Fine or Fines, and the Cofts and Charges aforefaid fhall be SatisfaclioTof" fully paid and fatisfied, or after the fame fhall have been tendred or offered to be paid as aforefaid, fhall the Fines, refufe to deliver the Poffeflion of the faid Copyhold Premiffes as aforefaid, he or the^ fhall be liable to, and fhall make Satisfaction to the Perfon or Perfons fo kept out of Poffeflion, for all the Damages that Vol. V.
