- cident Expences as fhould neceffarily attend the Paffing and Execution of the fame, in fuch iYIanner
' as is therein mentioned ; and the Cafhier and Cafhiers were thereby required and directed to pay the ' faid Commiffioners two hundred Pounds each, in confideration of their Labour and Trouble in the ' Execution of the feveral Matters directed by the faid Act to be by them done and performed, and
- alfo to pay the Money due and payable for the Fortunate Tickets to be drawn in the faid Lottery,
' and alfo from time to time, when thereunto required by the faid Commiflioners, to exhibit, or caufe
- to be exhibited to them, a true and juft Account of the Monies raifed by virtue of the faid Act,
' and how the fame had been difpofed of to the Time of exhibiting fuch Account ; and it was thereby ' further declared and enacted, That the Rcfidue of the Money ariling, and to be contributed by virtue ' of and upon the Credit of the faid Act, which, after Payment of the Sum of four hundred thoufand ' Pounds, thereby directed to be iffued to the Proprietors of the Fortunate Tickets refpectively, the ' Payments of the Salaries, and Rewards to the faid Commiffioners, and alfo of the faid Managers and ' Directors, and the Clerks, Agents, and Officers imployed by them, and other the incident "Charges ' attending the Execution of the Powers of the faid Act, fhould be applied and difpofed of for the Be-
- nefit and Relief of the Sufferers in the faid Corporation, who are Objects of Compaffion, in fuch
' Shares and Proportions, and in fuch Manner, as by the Wifdom and Juftice of Parliament fhould be ' ordered, directed, and appointed : And whereas the Commiffioners have, purfuant to the Directions
- of the laid Act, by a Report under their Hands, delivered to each Houfe of Parliament, certified and
- reported the Names, as well of the feveral Perfons who have applied to them in purfuance of and
' within the Time limited for that Purpofe in the faid Act, as of thofe who have applied to them after ' the Time limited therein, and their feveral Qualifications and Titles to receive the Relief intended by ' the faid Act, and have alio certified and reported the Names of fuch of the faid Perfons as have made ' it appear to the Satisfaction of the faid Commiflioners, that they refpectively are qualified to fuch ' Relief as aforefaid, within the true Intent and Meaning of the faid Act, and the feveral Debts, Sums
- of Money, Claims, and Demands, due to and claimed by them from the faid Corporation, in refpect
' or on account whereof, refpectively they are intitled to fuch Relief as aforefaid, and which faid Debts, ' Sums of Money, Claims, and Demands of the faid Sufferers, who applied within the Time limited ' by the laid Act, as alfo of thofe who applied after the Time therein limited, as ftated and computed
- by the faid Commiffioners, amount together to the Sum of one hundred fifty-fix thoufand and twenty
' Pounds one Shilling and three Pence Halfpenny : And whereas a Miftake was made in the faid ' Report, of five hundred Pounds, to the Prejudice of David Avery : And whereas feveral other Pro- ' prietors and Creditors of the faid Corporation have, through Ignorance or Inadvertence, omitted
- to take the Oath directed by the aforefaid Act, within the Time therein limited and prescribed for
' that Purpofe ; but have, fince the Commiffioners delivering their faid Report, taken the fame, and ap-
- pear to be Objects of Compaffion, within the Intent and Meaning of the faid Act ; and the Claims
' and Demands of fuch Perfons amount to the Sum of four thoufand three hundred and thirty Pounds ' feventeen Shillings and feven Pence Farthing, which together with the Demand of Jane Blancbard, ' who hath taken the faid Oath, and is a Sufferer to the Amount of one hundred Pounds, being added , ' to the faid Sum of one hundred fifty-fix thoufand and twenty Pounds one Shilling and three Pence ' Halfpenny, makes the Demands of the Creditors and Proprietors of the faid Corporation, who appear ' to be Objects of Compaffion, to amount in the Whole to the Sum of one hundred and fixty thou- Sum Total of

- And whereas it appears that after deducting and retaining the Sum of four hundred thoufand Pounds,

" After 1 May 1734, the Cafhiers to pay to the Perfons the Sums herein fpecified. Cafhiers by 25 " March 1735, to pay 100/. to each of the Ten Managers. No Perfons claiming Shares as a Security " from J. Thorn/on, G. Robinfon, &c. intitled to Relief, till they lhall have furrendered fuch Securities " to the Corporation.
