Provided always, and it is hereby further enacted and declared, That upon full Payment of the Principal, Intereft and Cofts, due and to grow due upon the faid feveral Mortgages or Securities herein before mentioned, the faid Mortgagees and Incumbrancers, and their Truftees, (hall affign and convey their refpective Securities on~the Eftates which (hall be fo fold, to the refpective Purchafers thereof, or to any Perfon or Perfons to be named by fuch Purchafers refpectively, at the Cofts of fuch Purchafer, in fuch Manner, and by fuch Conveyances, as the faid Court of Exchequer fhall direct; and fo much of the faid Premiffe-; included in fuch Mortgages and Incumbrances which fhall remain unfold, fhall, at the Cofts of his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, be affigned and conveyed by fuch Mortgagees and In- cumbrancers to his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, or to fuch other Perfon or Perfons as his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors fhall direct and appoint, fubject neverthelefs to the Directions herein contained for applying the Rents and Profits thereof as aforefaid. IX. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Commiflioners or Governors of the faid Royal Hofpital fhall and are hereby required to contract and agree with able and fufneient Tradef- men, Artificers or other Perfons, for finilhing and compleating the faid Royal Hofpital in a work- manlike and fubftantial Manner on the eafieft and moft reafonable Terms, according to the Plan laid, before the Houfe of Commons in this Seffion of Parliament, and that they do lay their Proceed- ings herein with their annual Accounts before his Majefty and both Houfes of Parliament re- flectively. ' X. And whereas the Encouragement given by an Act made in the eighth Year of the Reign of his ' late Majefty King George the Firft, intituled. An Ail for the more effeclml fupprejfing of Piracy, to Sea- ' men or Mariners on board any Merchant Ship or Veffel, extends only to fuch Seamen or Mariners as fhall be maimed in Fight againft any Pirate ;' Be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That in cafe any Seaman or Mariner on board any Merchant Ship or Veffel belonging to the Subjects of his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors, fhall be maimed in Fight againft any Enemy whatfoever of his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors, every fuch Seaman or Mariner fhall be admitted into and provided. for in the faid Royal Hofpital in like Manner as any other Seaman or Mariner wounded or difabled in the Service of his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors. nGeo.%. c. 30. 13 Geo. 2. c, 3 Sf 17. 146V0.2. c. 38. lyGeo.z, c, 34, iZGeo.2. c. 31, zoGeo.z. c. 38. 22 C«, 2. c. 52. 24G«.2. c. 10. XI. Provided always, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That out of the Rents and Profits of the faid Eftate now remaining in the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer, there (hall and may be iffued and paid to the Lord Vifcount Gage in the Kingdom of Irela?id, the Sum of two thoufand Pounds, without Account, and clear of all Fees and Deductions whatfoever, . he having been at great Charges and Expences in recovering the faid Eftate for the Ufe of the Publick. XII. Saving always to the King's moft Excellent Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, all fuch Right,. Title, Eftate, Intereft, Claim and Demand of, in, unto or out of the faid Premiffes, or any Part there- of, as his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors might have had, or been intitied unto, in cafe this Act had never been made (other than and except fuch Right, Title, Eftate, Intereft, Claim and Demand, as was or is vefted in his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, by virtue of the feveral Attainders herein before mentioned, or either of them, or of the faid recited Acts of Parliament, or any of them, and other than and. except fuch Right, Title, Eftate, Intereft, Claim and Demand which his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, hath or may have, in or to fuch Part or Parts of the faid, Premiffes, which (hall be fold purfuant to the Directions of this Act) any thing herein contained to the contrary in any wife notwith- ftanding. XIII. Saving alfo to the faid feveral Mortgagees and Incumbrancers herein before named (till they (hall be paid off as aforefaid) and to all and every other Perfon and Perfons, Bodies Politick and Corporate, their Heirs, Succeffors, Executors, Adminiftrators and Affigns, all fuch Right, Title, Eftate, Intereft, Claim and Demand, of, in, unto or out of the faid Premiffes, or any Part thereof (except fuch Part or Parts of the faid Premiffes which (hall be fold purfuant to the Directions of this Act J as they or any of them might have had, or been intitied unto, in cafe this Act had never been made ; any thing herein contained to the contrary notwithftanding. ' VV whereas by an Act paffed in the third Year of the Reign of King Edward the Firft, of famous ' Memory, it is commanded, upon great Forfeiture, that no Man by Force of Arms, nor by Malice, or ' Menacing, fhall difturb any to make free Election : And forafmuch as the Freedom of Elections of
- Members to ferve in Parliament is of the utmoft Confequence to the Prefervation of the Rights and Li-
' berties of this Kingdom: And whereas it hath been the Ufage and Practice to caufe any Regiment, 1 Troop or Company, or any Number of Soldiers, which hath been quartered in any City, Borough,
- Town or Place, where any Election of Members to ferve in Parliament hath been appointed to be
' made, to remove and continue out of the fame during the Time of fuch Election, except in fuch ' particular Cafes as are herein after fpecified : ' To the End therefore that the faid Ufage and Practice may be fettled and eftablifhed for the future; Be it enacted by the King's moft Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in 8 Parliament
