Bankrupts on Account of fuch Contracts, or for appointing a Paymafter or Paymafters for paying off and cancelling the fame Exchequer Bills in due Courfe and Order, mail be extended and conftrued to extend as well to the Exchequer Bills by this Act authorized to be made forth, as to the Exchequer Bills to be made forth in purfuance of the faid Act for continuing to his Majefty the Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder, and Perry, as amply, fully, and effectually, to all Intents and Pur- pofes, as if the fame Claufes or Provifoes had been particularly repeated and re-enacted verbatim in this Aft. XXIV. Be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the Money which (hall from i time to time arifc at the faid Receipt of the Exchequer of or for the Duties by this Act granted fhall

from time to time as the fame fhall arife at the faid Receipt be iflued and applied at the faid Receipt for

> or towards the paying off and difcharging the Orders of Loan for the Monies which fhall have been lent at the faid Receipt, and for fatisfying the Interefl thereof, in fuch Courfe, Manner and Form as are before in this, Act prelcribed or appointed for that Purpofe, until all the Principal and Interefl pay- able upon fuch Orders of Loan fhall be fully fatisfied, or Monies fufficient fhall be referved in the Ex- chequer for the full Payment and Satisfaction of the fame; or the Monies which fhall from time to time arife at the faid Receipt of the Exchequer of or for the faid Duties by this Act granted fhall from time to time, as the fame fhall arile at the faid Receipt, be iflued to fuch Paymafter byway of Impreft add upon Account for or towards paying off and difcharging the faid Exchequer Bills which fhall have been made forth by virtue of this Acl,. in fuch Courfe as aforefaid, and for or towards the Charge of circula- ting and exchanging the fame Bills or any of them, and for or towards fuch other Payments as are in and by this Act directed or allowed to be made or diicharged out of the fame, and for no other Ufe, Intent, or Purpofe whatfoeyer. XXV. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That yearly and every Year during the An Account of Continuance of the faid Orders of Loan and Exchequer Bills or any of them the CommiiTioners of the [ngby°heft ji Treafury, or any three or more of them now being, or the High Treafurer, or any three or more of Duties to be ! the Commifnoners of the Treafury for the time being, fhall on the Feaft Day of Saint Michael the ken ewer * 1 Archangel in every "V ear, or within twenty Days after, caufe a true and perfect Account in Writing to cir " j betaken and attefted by £the proper Officers, of all the Monies which fhall in the preceding Year have ,: been paid into the Receipt of the Exchequer, for or upon Account of the faid Duties by this Act grant- i ed as aforefaid, and how much thereof hath been applied or will be neceffary to be applied, either to- wards the paying of Interefl on the faid Orders of Loan, or the Payment of any Premium, Rate, or .... . I Intereft, in refpect of the faid Exchequer Bills, or any other neceffary Charges authorized by this Act J*^ 1 cati?n oi " j to be paid; and in cafe it fhall appear that on any fuch Feaft Day there fhall be or remain in the Exche- j quer any Surplus arifen from the faid Duties, over and beyond what will fatisfy fuch Interefl, Premium, J Rate, and Charges, to that Time, fuch Surpluffes fhall be and are hereby appropriated, and fhall be- j from time to time forthwith iffued and applied, as far as the fame will extend, for or towards the paying off the principal Sums contained either in fuch Orders of Loan, or in fuch Exchequer Bills, and dif- charging the fame in a numerical Courfe, beginning with N° 1. and fo on progreffively, until all the faid Orders of Loan and Exchequer Bills fhall be difcharged. XXVI. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That in cafe it fhall appear that on any De a jg ie '^ to J? fuch Feaft Day the Money arifen into the Exchequer in the preceding Year fhall be fo low or deficient, ™he S Sintcing- as that the fame fhall not be fufficient to difcharge fuch Interefl, Premium, Rate and Charges to that Fund, Time, fuch Deficiency fhall from time to time be made good out of the firft Supplies to be granted in. Parliament, next after fuch Deficiency fhall appear; and in cafe no fuch Supply fhall be granted within j fix Months next after fuch Deficiency fhall happen, then the fame fhall be made good out of any the Monies, which at any Time or Times (hall be or remain in the faid Receipt of the Exchequer of the ! Surpluffes, ExcefTes, and Overplus Monies, commonly called -The Sinking Fund (except fuch Monfes of I the fame Sinking Fund as are appropriated to . any particular Ufe or Ufes by any former Act or Acts of j Parliament in that Behalf ) and fuch Monies of the faid Sinking Fund fhall and may from time to time be iffued and applied accordingly. XXVII. Provided always, and be. it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That whatever Monies fhall ^l^Hf bj . be iffued out of the faid Surpluffes, Exceftes. or Overplus- Monies, commonly called The Sinking Fund, ! ihall, from time to time, be replaced by and out of the firft Supplies to be then after granted in Parlia- j Hient; any thing herein contained to the contrary notwithftanding. XXVIII. Provided always, and be it enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That all the Monies coming' ■ into the Exchequer, either by Loans. or Exchequer Bills, upon one Act of this Seffion of Parliament, , intituled, An Ad for continuing the Duties upon Malt, Mum, Cyder, and Perry, in that Part of Great Bri- tain called England, and for granting to his Majefty certain Duties- upon Matt, Mum, Cyder and Pern, in j; that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, for the Service of the Year one thoufand [even hundred and thirty- fnen, and fo much Money (if any fuch be) of the Duties thereby granted and continued, as fhall arife or ' remain after all. the Loans or Exchequer Bills made or to be made on the fame Act, and all the Intereft,

Premium, or Rate and Charges thereon, and the Charges thereby allowable for raifing the faid Duties
