'due Execution of the faid A6ls ;' Be it therefore enabled by the King's moft Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament aftembled, and by the Authority of the fame, That in cafe any Ail of Parliament hath pafted, or doth or fhall pafs at any Time whatfoever during this prefent Seflion of Parliament, upon or after the Day fpecified in any fuch A£t for the firft Meeting of the Commiflioners or Tru- ftees appointed to put the fame or any Part thereof in Execution, in each and every fuch Cafe, fuch Commiflioners or Truftees refpedtively, or the fame Number of fuch refpedlive Commiflioners or Truftees as is or ftiall be authorized to hold fuch firft Meeting, or any greater Number of them, (hall and may hold their firft Meeting upon the twenty-firft Day after the paflxng of this Acl, at fuch Places as vi^ere refpe£tively appointed in fuch A6ls for holding the firft Meetings on the Days therein fpecified ; and all fuch Commiflioners or Truftees, or any Number of them as aforefaid, being fo aftembled refpeclively on the faid twenty-firft Day after the pafling of this A^, fhall and may pro- ceed to the Execution of fuch A£ls refpeftively ; and then, and from time to time afterwards adjourn, and do and perform all fuch Matters and 'J'hings, and execute all the Powers and Authorities granted to them in the faid A£ts refpedtively, in the fame Manner, and as fully and effedtualUy to all intents and Purpofes, as if fuch Commiflioners or Truftees had been aftembled in purfuance of, and on the refpeftive Days fpecified or appointed in fuch Ails for holding the firft Meeting of fuch Commiflioners or Truftees i any thing therein contained to the contrary notwithftanding. CAP. XV. An kdc for rendering the Exportation of Culm from the Harbour of Milford in the County of Pembrokey and the Limits thereof, to the neighbouring Counties, more eafy to the Proprietors and Purchafers of the fame ; and for better fecuring the Duties payable thereon. Wh;re any Afl of this Seffion fiiall pafs upon or atter the Day fpecified therein for the firft Meet- ing of Commiflioners or Truflees to aft, they rhall hold their firft Meeting on the 21ft Day stter pafling this Act, Preamble. Puty of 16. per Chal- dron to be paid for the f«me, For which a Certificate i( to be given j the fjme dcf med a fuffi- f icnl Clearance. w H E R E A S the carrying of Culm in fmall Veftels from the Port of Milford in the County oi' Panbroke^ and the Limits thereof, to the neighbouring Places and Counties, is at prefent very Expenfive, and attended with many Inconveniencies :' for Remedy whereof, may it pleafe your Majefty, that it may be ena£ted ; And be it enadted by the King's moft Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament aftembled, and by the Authority of the fame. That from and after the twenty-fifth Day of June one thoufand ken hundred and fixty, if any Perfon fhall have Occafion to carry any Culm to be ufed for the burning of Lime, in any Ships, Veftels, or Boats, not exceeding thirty 'I'ons Burthen, from any Place within the faid Port of Milford, or the Limits thereof, to any other Place within the Counties of Pernbroke, Carmarthen, Cardigan, or Merioneth, or any of them, the Mafter of fuch Ship, Veftel, or Boat, on Board whereof fuch Culm is to be loaded, may apply to the Colledor of the fiiid Port, or to his Peputy, for a Sufferance to fhip or put fuch Culm on Board fuch Ship, Veflel, or Boat, and the faid Cqllector or his Deputy are hereby required to grant every fuch Mafter a Suf- ferance accordingly, in which fliall be infeited a Qiiantity of Culm fo to be fliipped ; and the Oflicer to whom the Suftcrance ftiall be dircded is hereby required to attend the Shipping or putting on Board fuch Ship, Veflel, or Boat, all the Culm which fhall be exprefled in the Sufferance, and like- wife to certify on the Back of tlie Sufferance the true Qiiantity of Culm fo fliippcd or put on Board fuch Ship, Vefl^cl, or Boat ; and the Mafter or Owner thereof fhall forthwith pay to the Collecflor of the l^ort or Place where fuch Culm ftiall be ftiipped or put on Board as aforefaid, or to his Deputy, the Siun of one Shilling for every Chaldron of fuch Culm, being the Duty payable for the fame ; and the Colleflor or his Deputy ftiall, upon Receipt of fuch Duty, forthwith grant a Certi- ficate under the Seal of his Oflice, to every fuch Mafter, fetting forth the true Qiiantity of Culm fhippcd or nut on Board fuch Ship, Vcflt-l, or Boat, and that his Majcfty's Duties have been duly paid for the fame ; and every fuch Certificate ftiall be a fufficicnt Lct-pafs or Clearance for every fuch Ship, Veflel, or Boat, on Board whereof fuch Culm fhall be ftiipped or put, to any Place within theCounties aforefaid j for which Certificate ihall be lawful for fuch Collector or his Deputy to
