XVIII. Provided always, and it is hereby declared, That every Perfon who ufes his or her own Perfons ufing their own Mill, Prefs, or other Utenfil for the making of Cyder or Perry for his or her own Ufe, or procures Mills, &c- or procuring Cyder or Perry to be made for him or her at the Mill or Prefs, or in the Utenlils of an- ^heM^l"'^^'^" other Perfon, (hall be deemed to be a Maker of Cyder or Perry within the Intent and Meaning other t , el 'r ' n & e ? ta *l' r of this Aft. . _ Makers. XIX. Provided always, and it is hereby enacted and declared, That this Act, or any thing therein occupiers of Tenements contained, (hall not extend to oblige the Occupiers of fuch Tenements as are not rated to the Land not rated above 40s. pec Tax, at above forty Shillings per Annum, and pay accordingly, and who (hall not make more than Arm - to the Land Tax, four Hogfheads of Cyder and Perry together in the whole, in any one Year, to pay the Duty a " 4 "°t making moie 1 l i_- a ci /-> j j r> J £ a r than 4 Ho t (heads of granted by this Act upon Cyder and Perry, or to compound tor the lame. Cyder and Perry in the Whole in a Year, exempted from Duties, or compounding, XXI. Provided always, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Duty Duties on Cyder and of four Shillings per Hogfhead upon Cyder or Perry charged by this Act, (hall and may be drawn e"^"™^.^ 011 back on the Exportation of fuch Cyder or Perry, by the fame Means and Methods, and under p ' iB ° ' the fame Rules and Directions, as the other Duties, or any of them, now payable for Cyder or Perry, may be drawn back on the Exportation thereof; and alfo that the faid Duty on Cyder and and upon Dirtilhtion Perry granted by this Act,^fhall be drawn back or allowed upon the Diftillation of Cyder or Perry thereof into Low Wines into Low Wines and Spirits, by the fame Means and Methods, and under the fame Rules and Di- mi s P ,flts ; rections as the other Duties, or any of them, now payable for Cyder or Perry, may be drawn back or allowed upon the Diftiliation thereof; and in Cafe any Cyder or Perry which has been charged an<! u P on the <ame beir 'S with, and hath paid the faid Duty of four Shillings granted by this Aft, (hall hereafter, by being "f4ed wiAthf DmiV unfit for Sale as Cyder or Perry, be charged with the Duties on Vinegar, it (hall he lawful for three as fuch. or more of the Commiffioners of Excife for the Time being, or two J u dices of the Peace, within their feveral Jurisdictions, on Proof that fuch Cyder or Perry hath been charged with, and paid the {aid Duty granted by this Act, and that the fame Cyder or Perry hath been alfo charged with the Duties on Vinegar, to difcharge or allow the Duty granted by this Act, which they are hereby re- quired to do. XXII.
