Snow White.

There's the trumpet! I must fly!
Please, my hand, sir, and—good-bye!

The Prince. [Detaining her.]

I don't even know your name!
Don't go yet—I'll take the blame!

Snow White.

Oh, I can't, nor tell you why!
Please! I beg you! Let me fly!
[And she runs off, surrounded by the Maids of Honour who have been terribly frightened lest the Queen should spy her.

The Prince. [Gazing after her.]

Do you think to steal my heart,
Little thief, and so depart?
Nay, I'll follow, fast and true,
Till I find my heart and you!
[Sir Dandiprat appears on the terrace.
