Hot-cross buns!
Old woman runs!
One a penny, two a penny,
If ye have no daughters,
Give them to your sons.
One a penny, two a penny,
Hot-cross buns!

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe,
She had so many children she did n’t know what to do;
She gave them some broth without any bread,
She whipped them all round, and sent them to bed.
