I remember an Editorial remark of Mr. Gurnett, the Editor of the Gore Gazette, which leads me to think that he could, if he would, throw further light upon this point.

In the mean time, I think the Montreal Gazette has made it pretty clear, that instead of calling the Verdict a ten-fold recompense for all Mr. Mackenzie's loss, I should have been nearer the truth if I had used the words Fifty-fold.
