The King, Alfonso XIII. , has a civil list, fixed by the Cortes, 1886, ot 7,000,000 pesetas, or 280,000Z., exclusive of allowances to members ol the royal family. The annual grant to the Queen is fixed at 450,000 pesetas (18,000Z.), and, should the King predecease her, 250,000 pesetas (10,000Z.) during widowhood. The annual grant to the mother of the King was hxeil at 250,000 pesetas. To the Prince of Asturias. heir to the throne, 500,000 pesetas have been assigned, and 250,000 to the second sister of the King. The Infantas, his aunts, receive 550,000 pesetas. _ • , ;, +
