కంటసరి kantasari, 5. A necklace.

కంటాళము kantalamu, s. A pack- saddle, placed on a bullock, or horse, in which a Hindoo carries his baggage on a journey. 2. A load of cotton.

కంటు kantu, s. Antipathy ; aversion; hatred. కంటుపెట్టు kantupettu, To have an antipathy towards another,

కంటె kante, adv. Than, the adverb of comparison, as వానికంటె vanikante, than him: For the derivation of this word, vide కన్న kanna.

కంటె kante, s, A thin narrow plate of solid gold, or silver, bent so as to fit the neck, arid worn as a necklace by Hindoo women, or children.

కంట్లము kantlanuv si vide కంటాళము kantalamu .

కంఠము kanthamu, s. The throat. కంఠపాఠముచేయు kanthapathamucheyu, lit. To make the lesson by the throat. To get by heart.

కండ kanda, s. Flesh; a piece of flesh 2. The solid or fleshy part of a mangoe, peach, &c. or of the cucumber, as distinguished from the skin, and stone, or seed. This word is not applicable to the soft pulp of oranges, &c. కండపెట్టు kandapettu, To grow fat. కండకావరము kandakavaramu, Pride? from superior strength, or stoutness.

కండనము kandanamu, s. Bran.

కండువా kanduva, 5. The cloth which the Hindoos usually wear over the upper part of the body, or occasionally tied round the waist.

కండువాదూలములు kanduvadulamulu, s. The cross beams, supporting at the bottom those which form a shelving roof,

కండువు, కండూతి kanduvu, kanduti, s. An itching. 2. The itch,

కండె kanrle, s. The ear or head of the grain termed mokka jonnalu. 2. A ball of thread.

కండ్రావి kandravi, &• . A melancholy event ; a tragical catastrophe, adj. Sad, melancholy, tragic.

కండ్లు kandlu, s. plu. The plural of the irregular noun. కన్ను kannu, the eye. Eyes. కండ్లకలక kandiakalaka, s. Ophthalmia. కండ్లకప్పుకొను kandlakappukonu, v. a. lit. To cover with the eyes. To receive or treat one with great kindness, or affection. కండ్లబడు kondlabadu,

v. n. To appear; to be discovered.
