pillar. బోదెకొయ్య bodekoyya, The lower part of the door frame, placed in the ground, at the threshold. బోదెపీట bodepita, vide బోదె bode, No- 2.

బోధ bodha, .v. Wisdom, intellect, understanding. 2. Awakening, arousing. బోధన bodhana, s. Instruction, teaching. 2. Persuasion, exhortation. 3. Advice, admonition. 4. Excitement, inducement. బోధకుడు bodhakudu, A person who teaches, persuades, admonishes, or excites. బోధపడు, బోధఅవు bodhapadu, bodhaavu, v. ?i. To be understood, or become intelligible. బోధ-పఱచు, చేయు, బోధించు bodha-parratsu, cheyu, bodhintsu, v. a. To render intelligible ; to explain, to inform. 2. To persuade or exhort. 3. To advise, or admonish. 4. To excite, or induce.

బోనగత్తె bonagatte, s. A female slave.

బోనము bonarnu, s* Food, boiled rice.

బోను bonu, s. A trap.

బోయవాడు boyavadu, s. A huntsman, or bird-catcher.

బోయీ boyi, s. A title assumed by the mootaraja,and the palanqueen-bearer castes. 2. A palanqueen bearer.

బోయీడు boyidu, s. A title assumed by the caste of cow-keepers, or shepherds.

బోర bora, s. The breast, or bosom, బోరగిలు, బోర్లబడు boragilu, Borlabadu, v. n. To lie on the face, or breast. 2. To be turned topsyturvy.

బోర్లవేయు, బోర్లించు barlaveyu, borlintsu, v. a. To turn topsyturvy.

బోరున boruna, adv. With great haste, speed, or 4 noise.

బోలు bolu, adj. Hollow.

బోలె bole, s. A broken earthen vessel.

బౌగుణి baaguni, s. A Copper, or brass, pot; in shape like a bason.

బ్రతుకు, బ్రదుకు bratuku, braduku, ». n. To live, exist, or subsist. 2. To survive. 3. To be delivered, or saved, s. vide బతుకు, బ్రతుకుదెరవు batuku, bratukuderavu, The means of livelihood. బ్రతికించు bratikintsu, v. a. To restore, or save, life j to resuscitate, or revive ; to save, or deliver from danger. 2. To support, maintain, or nourish.

బ్రహ్మ brahma, s. Bramha, the first deity of the Hindoo triad, and the operative creator of the world. 2. An officiating priest.
