worm. వానగురియు vanaguriyu^.w. To rain. వానవెలియు vanaveliyu; To stop, or cease, raining;
వానరము v^naramu, s. A monkey, or ape.
వాను vanu, p. a. To create.
వాపు vapu, s- A swelling, or protuberance. వాపుదెవులు vapudevulu, s m Dropsy.
వాపోవు vapovu, v. n- To cry aloud. 2. To chatter or talk icily.
వామి vami, s. A heap of straw.
వాయనము vayanainu.s. Sweet meats, or cakes, the eating of which is no breach of a religious fast.
వాయసము vayasamu, s. A crow. వాయసారతి vayasar^ti, It's enemy, the owl.
వాయి vayi, s. Making in the iuflex. Sing. వాతి, vati, The mouth. 2. The edge of any cutting instrument. 3- Such a quantity of grain as a mortar can contain at once. In this last sense, the inflexion is regular.
వాయించు vayintsu, v. a. To beat, sound, or piay upon any musical instrument, except wind instruments, to which is applied the verb. ఊదు uclu, p. v. 2. To beat, or give blows.
వాయిదా vayida, s: An instalment, or term of payment.
వాయువిళంగములు vayuviiangamulu, s. plu. A sort of medical plant, used as a vermifuge.
వాయువు vayuvu, s. vide వాతము. vatamu. వాయువుకొను vayuvukonu, To be flatulent. వాయువుపట్టేమందు vayuvupattemandu, Medicine which dissipates flatulency.
వార vara, s. A bundle of thread, for weaving, containing eight Panjams. 2. Variance, difference; esnecially in accounts. 3. A side, or corner, adv. Aside.
వారక varaka, adv. Constantly, continually.
వారకము varakamu, s. vide G. తకావీ takavi.
వారడి varadi, s. Deficiency.
వారడు varadu, v. a. To quit, abandon, or leave off.
వారణ varana, adv. Fairly, well, agreeably:
వారపాక varapaka, s. The veranda, or portico, of a house.
వారము varamu, s. A day of the week. 2. A multitude, or quantity. 3. A time ; as 'once, twice, &c.
వారాది varadi, a. vide వంతెన vantena.
వారించు varmtsu, v. a. To drive away. 2. To defend, or ward off to guard* 8. To prevent, or oppose.
