ఉతక utaka, s. The common native doors have no hinges ; they turn upon a pivot, fixed to the top and bottom on one side, and inserted above, m the beam which passes over the, door way, and below, in a small piece of wood placed in the ground, at the corner of the door way. This is the Telngu name for that piece of wood, which is thus placed at the bottom of the door way.
