ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS.[1]

I N. N. give and consecrate myself to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ; I give to Him my person and my life, my actions, pains and sufferings, so that my entire being may be devoted to honor, love and glorify Him. My determination, taken forever, is to be and do all for love of Him, and to give up with all my heart everything that could displease Him.

I choose Thee therefore, O Sacred Heart, for the only object of my love, the protector of my life, the pledge of my salvation, the remedy against my malice and weakness, the repairer of the sins of my life,
