THE ROSARY.
211

In the third glorious mystery we consider how Jesus, sitting at the right hand of His Father, sent the Holy Ghost on the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin.

In the fourth glorious mystery we consider how the Blessed Virgin Mary passed from this life, and was carried into heaven by the angels.

In the fifth glorious mystery we consider how, in heaven, Mary was crowned by Her Son, and is now the Queen of Angels and Saints.

THE MEMORARE OF ST. BERNARD.

Remember, O most pious Virgin Mary! that never was it known that any one, who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother! To thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful; O Mother of the Word Incarnate! despise not my petitions, but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
