FRIED FISH

6 pounds pike or any fresh water fish
1 cup vinegar
1 teaspoonful cornstarch

(a) When the fish has been cleaned, rub inside and out with salt. Then fry in boiling oil until it turns brown.

(b) Add enough water to cover. Stir in the vinegar and the cornstarch. Cook for 10 minutes.

(c) Add Chinese gravy.
